Re-Opening 4th July 2020!
We are incredibly pleased to announce that we will be opening again on the 4th of July, and look forward to welcoming our customers back, both indoors and out. We have new temporary Opening Hours, please see below.
We have undertaken a complete renovation project with a new look to both our bar area and formal dining area.
Unfortunately our formal dining area project is still not fully complete, as we are waiting for delivery of certain major parts of it. Therefore the Dining Area in the downstairs Restaurant is currently temporarily closed to the public. However, our garden and patio areas are fully open.
Please see below for the Customer Safety Arrangements that we now have in place
COVID 19 Arrangements
Pleae note that there will be no service at the bar under any circumstances, with everything being conducted at your table. A one way system is in place starting at the entrance to the pub, where there will als be hand sanitising facilities available. You will need to give your name, contact number and address to gain access. We are required to securely hold this information for 21 days to ensure that you are contactable by the NHS Track and Trace system if required. You may also be asked to have your temperature taken (using a non invasive scan). You will then be shown to your table by a member of staff, who will then take your orders and bring the food/drinks to the table. The safe distance is currently 1 metre plus, please ensure that you maintain distancing when moving through the buiding and garden. We have spaced the tables to ensure your safety, which also may mean that certain tables are not in use and cannot be put into use during busy times.
Particularly during busy or sunny days, it is highly likely that demand will outstrip supply of seats and tables, so please ensure that you call ahead and book your place before undertaking any journey here, as once we are full, we cannot allow any further customers on to the premises.
Please note that only one person at a time will be permitted to use the toilet facilities (with the exception of parent and child), which will be cleaned even more regularly than our previous strict cleaning regime. Staff will also be required to wear full PPE when serving you to ensure both yours and their safety. This will include, gloves, visors, masks, and aprons. All cutlery and crockery will have been steam cleaned prior to bringing them out to you and will be laid following receipt of your food order. Hand Sanitiser will be available to use on request at any table.
