Banbury warmth awaits all at one of Oxfordshires finest pubs, The Saye & Sele Arms

DECEMBER 1ST 2018 MARKED THE START OF A NEW ERA AT THE SAYE & SELE ARMS IN BROUGHTON.

A truly warm welcome awaits all who enter The Saye & Sele Arms from the new owners, Paul, Gale and Callum and their staff. This lovely popular pub is located on the B4035 in the village of Broughton, North Oxfordshire, three miles West into the countryside from Banbury Cross, and is very handy for visitors to Broughton Castle, the ancestral home of Lord and Lady Saye & Sele, Blenheim Palace, the City of Oxford, Towcester, Stratford upon Avon and Warwick racecourses and of course the delightful Cotswolds, as well as close proximity to Silverstone Racetrack and Several top UK Motorsport Team Headquarters.

Our ethos is to provide a warm welcome to our traditional and quintessentialy Old English Pub with well kept Beers and Ales and serving excellent food. Doombar from Sharps of Cornwall is the resident ale, with guest ales recomended by CAMRA, appearing regularly. The well apointed cosy restaurant and bar, with exposed stone walls and an open fire, have beams decked with over 200 sparkling colourful whisky water jugs and well polished horse brasses.

The extensive menu, based on established and reliable local suppliers such as Steve Betts the Master Butchers, has something for everyone, especially those with special dietary needs. Our famous `Homemade Hearty Pies\' are always on the menu, and other popular choices range from prime steaks, sourced from Oxfordshire herds, to the daily fresh fish dish and seasonal specials to our home-made desserts - Souffléd Bread & Butter Pudding and our Dark Chocolate Grand Marnier Torte are definitely not to be missed.

The recently revamped wine menu, with more wines available by the glass, has been created from various parts of the world to reflect as many interesting avenues of taste to the discerning customer.

In the summer the mature garden creates an ideal spot for outside dining on the lawn or patio. Food is served every session except Sunday evening. Table reservations are certainly advisable.
